Hi, Amanda! Thanks so much for stopping by! I’m so thrilled that you’re enjoying Night Bells. (Makes my little author heart SO, SO happy :-)) I was inspired to write Night Bells while I was in college. I had been watching a TV show that had a young boy as the main character and I somehow got the idea to write my own story about a young boy (up until then, I had usually written about adults and primarily about female protagonists). I just sat down and started writing to see where it would take me. As I got further into Soryn’s story, I was heavily inspired by Norse mythology–particularly tales of magic and their gods. I decided to incorporate some of those aspects into my novel. I hope that helps, Amanda! Let me know if you have any more questions! P.S.– 2NE1 is AWESOME. So happy to see they have another loyal fan out there! Thanks for your encouragement. I hope your project goes really well.
