That’s pretty much how I feel right now!! I’m trying to read five-ish books at a time and it’s hard to juggle them all! How do you mult-tasking-readers do it? In all seriousness, do you ever get those seasons where you just have to read at least 3 things at a time? For the most part, I’m pretty good about picking one book, reading it until the end, and then moving on to another tome. Lately, though, I’ve been juggling several at a time. And you know what? I LIKE it. I like having several things to read. I think it keeps my mind active and hopping from one story to another.

Want to know what I’m juggling?

>> Flame of Sevenwaters by Juliet Marillier

>> 24/6 by Matthew Sleeth

>> Crazy Sexy Diet by Kris Carr

>> Little Women by Louisa May Alcott

>> The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley (which I may not finish…)

I think I actually have 1 or 2 more I could add to that list, but I’ll keep it simple. Yeah…not sure how I feel about The Mists of Avalon right now. I’m all for historical accuracy about the coexistence of two opposing religions and all, but…it seems a bit “preachy” to me…as in, preachy about the fact that (in the characters’ minds) all Christians are dimwitted, evil, and blasphemous. Yeah…as a Christian myself, I’m not too hot on that. I try to be very respectful to other folks who believe differently than I do. Just as I wouldn’t want to blatantly bash another religious person’s thoughts, I don’t like my people being bashed either. *End Rant*

I am so sad to see the Sevenwaters series come to a close with Flame!!! I am super excited about reading it, though. It’s starting off MUCH more quickly than her other books usually do and I’m not entirely sure how I feel about that. I really love the sprawling prose and the long beginnings of DotF, SotS, CotP, etc. We’ll see how it goes, though! I’ll be sure to do a review of it!

That’s about all I’ve got today, folks. 🙂 What are y’all reading?

TOO Many Books!!
