Random Facts About My Writing and Reading Habits
>> When I’m stuck in a particularly nasty writer’s block, I like to read (and write) my way through it. Going back and reading over the manuscript usually does the trick. As well, I love to read for pleasure during that time, which helps inspire new ideas.
>> I go through cyclical reading phases. I’ll read fantasy for a while, then YA, then romance, then theology, etc. I like to read a WHOLE bunch of books in one category, then visit another one, then return to an old favorite, etc. I read a lot. Usually at least 2 (typically more) books a month.
>> I love RESEARCH. I could spend a whole day researching cultures, time periods, etc.
~Have a terrific Wednesday!
