I sat down at my desk to work this morning and realized…I forgot to get my water cup. Now, this sounds like a small thing, but keep in mind that I probably drink about 10 of those GIANT drinking cups (think large at fast food places) worth of water everyday. I was like….NOES! But, I have yet to get up and get it, because I’m tired. 😉 Yay for human laziness. Well, anyways, what you came here for >> some Wednesday Wanderment!

Random Facts About My Writing and Reading Habits
>> Every now and again, I’ll read just one book at a time, finish it, and move on to the next one. Other times (like lately), I’ll read several books at once. This usually occurs when I’m mildly (but not super) stressed.
>> While writing, my favorite “in the zone” music types are: Celtic harp, Enya Station on Pandora, classical, or movie soundtracks (orchestral).
>> I go through phases of manuscript writing where I think….”This is AWESOME!” and then gravitate towards…”WOW…this is crap. This will suck.” and then back to the former. It just happens with writing, folks–especially first drafts. Learn that now. 🙂 Chances are, it’s much better than you think, but don’t be afraid to rewrite scenes and move things around.
