wednesdaywandermentdecember12It’s almost time! Almost time to put down the writing and reading…time to lay down cares from the previous months…time to enjoy the Christmas holiday with family and friends. I can’t believe it’s nearly here. This is my first Christmas EVER working past the 16th or so. I’ve been on a “school” schedule my whole life. Now that I’m working full-time from home (and LOVING my job), it is sort of fun working until the 21st! I’m pretty excited about the projects I’d like to finish this week. Random Facts About My Writing and Reading Habits

>> My excitement about my writing comes in bursts. I always love my work, but some days, I’m more excited than others. Usually this excitement stems from any or all of the following: watching a great movie, watching a great TV show, reading a great book, hearing a great sermon (weird, but true), or just sitting and thinking deeply about my stories.

>> Not really about my personal writing habits, but so far, many people have told me that they love Silent Shades! WOOHOO!

>> I LOOOOVE reading on my Kindle, but I also still love reading print books, too. I usually alternate between an eBook and a print book at once.

REMINDERS

>> Night Bells is only $0.99 for Kindle and Nook! Get your copy today. :-) Not sure you want to take a chance on it yet? Check out the first chapter for free here.

>> If you’ve read Night Bells and would like to read more Tales from Niflheim, check out the sequel, Silent Shades! It’s available for Kindle, Nook, and in print. Check out the first chapter for free here.

>> Sponsor spots on Unearthing Words are a great way to spread the word about your blog! Large sponsors are featured in an interview of their own and medium sponsors are featured in a group post sometime during the month of their sponsorship. Right now, I have a Christmas sale going on! Check out my Advertising page if you’re interested.

Enjoy your Wednesday, everyone! Merry Christmas!

  • Thanks for mentioning my post!

“The Silmarillion by J.R.R. Tolkien” — Good luck with that one! I read the LotR and the Hobbit, but couldn’t make it more than 50 pages into S. 😛

    • You’re very welcome! I always love your posts! They are most helpful. 🙂 Yeah, the “Silmarillion” is quite long and dense, but I do love it. I only read it every now and then, so it’s on my WW post every week, LOL.
