Good afternoon, all!
I thought it would be fun to discuss the music I’ve been listening to while writing lately. I tend to hop around a lot. Sometimes, I’ll get absorbed in a certain genre or album, but for the most part, I’m a major fan of mixed playlists. Lately, I’ve been rocking the classical playlist with songs like:
>> “Dance of the Hours” by Ponchielli
>> “The Firebird Suite” by Stravinsky
>> “Peter and the Wolf” by Prokofiev
>> “The Nutcracker Suite” by Tchaikovsky
When I’m not listening to classical playlists, I am probably listening to my Enya station on Pandora One. I LOVE that station. Enya is one of my favorite artists and I have every single one of her albums, I think. The Pandora One station for her introduced me to great songs by Eva Cassidy and Loreena McKennitt.
The last two days, though (following my recent Legend of Zelda obsession), I’ve been listening to lots of OCRemix songs for all the Zelda games. They are FANTASTIC! Perfect working music. Upbeat, usually, but just enough ambiance to let you work and get in the zone.
My favorite songs from that mix are:
>> “Mamacitas in My Valley” by Diggi Dis
>> “Hyrule Party Mix” by NoppZ
>> “SoS” by SAiNT 420
What do you listen to while working//writing? I’d love to hear!
Thanks for stopping by!
